Designer Profile

With over 35 years of professional experience in healthcare and commercial interiors, Janette Ray Principal at Davis Partnership Architects, oversees the Interior Design Studio of 18 design professionals. Focusing on healthcare, she has led interior projects on numerous new hospitals, replacement hospitals, acute care hospitals, cancer centers, ambulatory surgery centers, and addition and renovation projects.

Janette focuses on achieving a balance between functionality and aesthetics with a passion for excellence that assures each project, regardless of size or budget, is the best it can be. She works hard to achieve a touch of specialness within these projects, meeting clients artistic and sustainability goals, and rendering each project pleasing to its users through innovative, yet pragmatic new approaches. “I have always followed a philosophy of listening and collaborating with our clients, identifying facility goals together and answering their concerns. We assess staff needs and understand the holistic patient experience before the design is started. This creates in-depth, meaningful healing environments that support and strengthen the experiences of staff and patients.” Janette Ray. Her certifications include the National Certification for Interior Design Qualifications (NCIDQ), Texas, Oklahoma, Indiana and Missouri registered Interior Designer, as well as California, Kentucky, New York, New Jersey, Washington DC and New Mexico Certified Interior Designer.
