Lyn joined the University of Iowa in February of 2017 after 30 years at local architectural firms in Iowa City, Iowa.
Lyn’s experience in Master Planning efforts has developed her understanding of overall planning and functional relationships from the user’s perspective.
Her experience is in projects for a variety of healthcare specialties, where her creative abilities have led to exciting, durable, functional, and maintainable interiors for her clients. Lyn has the ability to listen to her clients and develop multiple concepts, giving her clients flexibility to choose from a variety of ideas.
Lyn has worked in conjunction with teams of architects and planners during her entire career. She has also developed a strong client relationship which insures her designs meet the goals and objectives and many of the wants of her clients. She plans functional interiors that work within the client’s economic constraints and interior design/image goals.
Now on the other side of the table at the University of Iowa, Housing and Dining department, Lyn has the ability to bring knowledge and design to the owner’s side to make sure they are getting the best design and products appropriate for the project insuring the health, safety, and welfare of the students and staff on campus.
