Wieland, the industry leader in innovative healthcare furniture, is excited to announce the debut of Hale, a new collection of metal furniture that combines the functionality demanded by today’s healthcare environments and a modern, sophisticated look.
Like all Wieland products, Hale is designed with infection prevention in mind. The powder-coated metal frames and generous clean-out offer easy cleanability, and the short center arms of the tandem models eliminate unnecessary legs to simplify housekeeping. The slender back cushion and prominent seat offer comfort while also complimenting the overall design.
The Hale collection is available with open arms or an optional upholstered arm insert panel to give users a feeling of privacy. Single seat options, plus 2 and 3 seat tandem units, provide a variety of layouts. Hale patient chairs are offered in two seat widths, 21″ and 30″, to accommodate bariatric needs. A variety of arm caps are available: solid surface, wood, thermoform and injection-molded nylon, which is both chemically resistant and durable. The metal arm can be specified without a cap, if desired.
Wieland’s signature sturdiness is infused throughout the entire family of pieces. The metal frame construction is welded at all joints and built with heavy gauge steel to support the 550 pound capacity on standard units and 750 pound capacity on 30” seating units. The molded foam over a domed support structure provides long-lasting comfort.
“The simplicity of the Hale aesthetic is unique and eye-catching,” says Stan Schneider, the national sales manager for Wieland. “But it also harmonizes well with any style or architecture.”
