Designer Profile

As a passionate CHID, SCCID (Utah State Certified Commercial Interior Designer) and NCIDQ Certified interior designer with over 25 years in the commercial design industry, I believe that thoughtful design can transform spaces and enhance lives. My expertise includes:

  • Healthcare Design
  • Furniture specifications
  • Full architectural construction drawings
  • Cost estimating
  • Facilities management

Currently, I work with the Veterans Health Administration in the Environmental Programs Service as part of the Leasing Development & Design team.

During my time at Brigham Young University, I was responsible for the interior design for over 200 buildings, totaling more than 12 million square feet. I led the interior design on 10 major construction projects, including the BYU Engineering Building—a 200,000 square foot facility with a total project budget of $85 million. I successfully managed a furniture budget of $3.7 million, staying within 3% of budget.

My commitment to community service is evident in my roles on the Board of Directors for my local Habitat for Humanity Affiliate, where I served as Treasurer, and in my long-term involvement with IIDA (International Interior Design Association). I have held various leadership positions, including President, and played a key role in forming the Intermountain Chapter in Utah.

I strive to create functional and aesthetically pleasing environments that meet user needs while being mindful of budget constraints. I am always eager to connect with fellow professionals and explore opportunities for collaboration in the field of interior design.
