Study Preparation

The 150 multiple-choice CHID exam consists of the following content areas with an approximation of the percentage and number of questions per content area.

To prepare for the CHID exam, we recommend that you do the following:

  1. Review the CHID Exam Blueprint to determine what knowledge areas you may need to study
  2. Refer to the CHID Reference List for supplemental study materials (a study guide is currently under development)
  3. Take a Practice Test to become familiar with the format and types of questions. See instant results, just like the real exam. Administered by Castle Worldwide, the cost to take the Practice Test is $50, with a 30-day window to complete it.
