Julie possesses over 30 years of planning, design and project management experience in the Healthcare arena. She has worked in leadership roles alongside large Health Systems developing new construction and renovation projects that include: Stanford Health, Veterans Health System, Trinity Health and Kaiser Permanente. In her current role at LSU School of Interior Design she teaches the health and wellbeing design studio to future generations of designers. The school’s mission goes beyond healthcare spaces and accommodations, creating spaces that enable and improve the human condition – bringing out the best of who we are, and providing a lasting and positive impact on outcomes. Julie also owns ALMA Interior Consulting a Healthcare focused planning firm based in New Orleans.
Julie graduated from Louisiana State University with a degree in Interior Design, She is certified in CHID, LEED,GA, EDAC, NCIDQ and holds an Interior Design license in Louisiana(#1312). She is currently enrolled in the Masters of Healthcare Innovation program at OSU School of Nursing.
