Lead Interior Designer, Johns Hopkins Health System / Facilities Planning Office.
Supervised and managed an interior design, furniture and finishes for all projects across five JHHS campuses. Responsibilities included selection, specification and coordination of all furnishings and materials, as well as maintaining a corporate database. I worked closely with procurement, maintenance, and environmental services teams to manage finishes and furniture. I spent the first 10 years of my career as a Registered Nurse, becoming a full-time Interior Designer in 1985. I’ve focused exclusively on Healthcare Interior Design, since 1991. I have served on the Maryland Licensing Board for Interior Design, and as the board representative to NCIDQ.
